Spencer Priestley – Managing Director

About Me – After graduating from Plymouth University with a degree in business and marketing, I went straight to work as a Business Development Manager for a Specialist Builders Merchants and I have been in the industry ever since. Prior to setting up Professional Building Supplies I was a Director of a FTSE 350 PLC. Customer service is my overriding passion in the business, and my key objective is to ensure that everything we do here at Professional Building Supplies is geared to ensuring that our customers get the materials that they want with a minimum of fuss. On a day to day basis I very much enjoy the challenge of developing our business in what is now a fast-paced and competitive industry.

Interests - Rugby, football, field sports, boating, trekking, travelling.

Colin Evans – Director

About Me – I have been in the Builders Merchants Industry for 27 years in a variety of roles, including Managing Director of a national chain of merchants. Like Spencer, I have a keen interest in combining old fashioned customer service with new technologies with a view to making the purchasing of building materials as simple a process as it can be. If you think our service can be improved in any way I would be very pleased to hear from you, as we constantly strive to improve our offering.

Although I have been told can be irritatingly analytical, I consider myself to be a people person above all else, and I always try to enjoy life!

Interests – Travelling, golf, swimming and scuba diving, spending time with my friends and family.

Paul Nicholls – Branch Manager

About Me – With 23 years experience of selling plastic building materials, there can’t be too many questions that I haven’t been asked, although I like to think I am still keen to learn new skills. I always enjoy dealing with the variety of technical queries that come our way on a daily basis, however complex they may be. If on occasion I don’t know the answer, I have built up a small army of contacts in my time and I there is always someone I can turn to!

Interests – Football (Ipswich Town!), lowering my golf handicap, an evening’s snooker with the boys.

Ken Richards– Logistics Manager

About Me – I have been in the Building Plastics Business for 8 years now; prior to this I have held various management positions in logistics. I always try to tackle my work with a cheerful manner and as such it is my aim to resolve any issues that may arise quickly and with a minimum amount of fuss.

Interests – Gardening, spending time with the family and following West Ham United.

Matt Peck – Customer Service

About Me – I have always worked incustomer service, both within the Builders Merchant’s Industry and the hotel sector. I enjoy the variety that comes with helping all types of different customers, from our DIY sector to experienced builders. I am also currently looking forward to the very different challenge of becoming  a Dad for the first time!
