We recommend applying a solvent-based preservative after assembly to ensure that any water is not absorbed into the timber. The colour of the timber may change over time – perfect if you’re a fan of the weathered, rustic look! However, if you’d like to keep your log cabin the same colour throughout its lifespan, you can simply apply colour-based timber treatments regularly to maintain the colour.
