Benefits of Internal Cladding

Internal cladding can be used in a variety of domestic settings, making it an incredibly versatile product. It doesn’t just look visually appealing but can actually bring a number of benefits to the room in which you install it.

Fixed onto Existing Tiles

If you have existing tiles on your kitchen or bathroom walls, so long as they’re securely fixed in place, you can install and stick cladding panels directly on top of these tiles, removing the need for dismantling or removing the tiles currently on your wall.

Budget Friendly

Internal cladding is an extremely cost-effective method of both creating a stylish effect and protecting your walls. In comparison to ceramic tiles, internal cladding is incredibly cheap – the materials are less expensive, and thanks to ease of installation, there’s less to spend on installation fees than traditional tiling or similar.

Condensation Reduction

PVC internal cladding panels are warm, therefore condensation is less likely to form on them. They will not completely eliminate condensation, however they can reduce its effect by a large proportion.

Durable

PVC cladding is an incredibly tough item. Panels are resistant to a lot of damage in the form of scratches and stains, so it’s likely they’ll still look brand new a few years down the line!

Easy Installation

Internal cladding is very lightweight and is supplied in easy to manage lengths. The panels will often slot together, making it very easy to place them in the correct space and position. This can save you time and money when it comes to labour, and installation shouldn’t take long meaning it won’t be an especially difficult task to complete.

Range of Styles

Internal cladding is available in a range of colours and styles, meaning you can customise your kitchen or bathroom specifically to your desires.

Insulation

Installing cladding onto your walls adds another layer of insulation to the room it is installed in. This is particularly useful in bathrooms, as nobody likes getting out of a warm shower into a chilly bathroom in the colder months of the year!

Class 1 Fire Rating

Our PVC cladding panels all hold a Class 1 Fire Rating, meaning the product has achieved the lowest flame spread, making it much safer than other alternatives.

Waterproof

Internal cladding is also water resistant. This is ideal in kitchens, where the washing up is likely to be occurring, and in bathrooms where plenty of showers will be had. This helps avoid any damp or mildew problems in either of these rooms.

Easy Maintenance

Internal cladding can be cleaned simply by wiping with a damp cloth, and because of its durability is unlikely to need any forms of essential maintenance. This makes it incredibly low maintenance day to day, so it’s a great option if you need something fuss free.
